Austin "it"® VOC Wrap is the compact purifier of the Austin Air range, designed for desks, nightstands, workstations and travel (hotels and Airbnb, campers, boats), and able to cover rooms up to 40 m². Its medical-grade true HEPA filter removes up to 99.97% of particles at 0.3 µm and up to 99% of those at 0.1 µm: dust, pollen, pet dander, bacteria, aerosolized particles and allergens. The external activated carbon wrap (VOC Carbon Wrap) adds adsorption of odors, gases and VOCs. 360° intake, steel housing, no ozone, HEPA filter lasting up to 5 years.

How it works

Air enters from all sides (360° intake) and passes through multi-stage filtration:

  1. VOC Carbon Wrap, fitted around the filter in place of the large-particle pre-filter: it traps larger particles and, with its activated carbon layer, adsorbs odors, gases and VOCs.
  2. High-efficiency true HEPA filter: captures fine particulate and allergens.

Filters, warranty and what's in the box

  • HEPA filter: designed to last up to 5 years under normal home use.
  • VOC Carbon Wrap: about 3 months under normal conditions.
  • Pre-filters: do not wash them; replace them with original spares.
  • Dedicated original spares: Austin "it" HEPA filter, VOC Wrap filter, large-particle pre-filter and VOC Carbon Wrap pre-filter.
  • Legal warranty 2 years (24 months) under the Italian Consumer Code.
  • Commercial mechanical warranty 3 years against material and manufacturing defects, automatic from delivery: product registration is not a condition, it is a recommended service. Details on the Legal, commercial and service warranty page.
  • The mechanical warranty does not cover filters, which are consumables.
  • Defects attributable to the use of non-original spare parts are not covered, and the commercial extension to 36 months is subject to the use of original Austin Air spare parts.

Right of Withdrawal Notice: As this is an air purifier, the consumer is entitled to a brief functional test (power-on and control verification). Prolonged use causes immediate contamination of the filters with particles, allergens and pollutants: in that case the customer is responsible for the diminution in value of the goods (Art. 57, paragraph 2, Consumer Code) and the refund is reduced accordingly. Filters purchased separately cannot be returned if opened or if the original seal has been removed (Art. 59). More information here.

FAQ

Can it replace a whole-room purifier?
It covers rooms up to about 40 m², like the Junior models, and is also designed for close-range use (desk, nightstand). For larger spaces there are the standard models of the Austin Air range.
How long does the filter last?
HEPA up to 5 years in typical residential use; VOC Wrap ~3 months, varies by conditions.
Does it emit ozone or use ionizers?
No. Mechanical filtration only (no ozone emission).
